Incogni vs DeleteMe: Which Data Removal Service Is Better?

What Incogni offers

Incogni's pricing page describes Standard as automated removal across public and private data brokers, with recurring requests and support for multiple emails, addresses and phone numbers. Its dashboard shows broker-specific expected removal times.

Unlimited adds specialist-handled custom requests, advertised across 3,000+ additional sites, and live phone support. That custom directory is separate from its 420+ automated broker coverage. Adding the two figures would misrepresent routine coverage.

• Advantages: lower reviewed Standard annual total, a genuine monthly Standard option and five-member household plans.
• Trade-offs: Standard does not include the listed Unlimited custom-request scope; the higher tier changes the price comparison.

What DeleteMe offers

DeleteMe's US Standard page lists custom removal requests plus automated services, a Personal DeleteMe Expert, and email, chat and phone support. Its how-we-work page describes experts finding listings and scans and deletions continuing throughout the year.

The pricing page includes unlimited aliases, previous names and email addresses. Its individual annual total is higher than Incogni Standard but lower than Incogni Unlimited. These plans do not have identical scope.

• Advantages: custom requests and expert support are listed on the reviewed US Standard plan, with quarterly reports.
• Trade-offs: the US individual annual charge is higher than Incogni Standard; a directly comparable month-to-month offer was not established in the reviewed page.

Coverage and country eligibility

Start with the particular sites exposing your information, not a headline total. The reviewed DeleteMe pricing and process pages do not establish a routine Standard count measured on the same basis as Incogni's automated directory. Missing comparable evidence is not evidence that DeleteMe covers fewer sites.

Incogni lists the US, UK, EU, Ireland, Canada, Isle of Man, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Its Protect bundle is US-only and is not the plan compared here.

DeleteMe's USD offers reviewed here explicitly say US residents only. Its official international help page also lists Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore and the UK. International prices and coverage are separate, so do not apply the US table to those countries.

Pricing and family plans

Incogni Standard costs $95.88 USD annually, shown as $7.99 per month equivalent. Its FAQ separately lists a $15.98 monthly subscription. Unlimited is $179.88 annually. Family covers up to five members for $191.88 annually; Family Unlimited costs $275.88 annually.

DeleteMe US Standard costs $129 annually for one person, $229 for two and $329 for four. Its one-person two-year offer is $209 for the full two years, a different commitment from the one-year comparison.

A five-person automated plan and a four-person plan with listed custom requests are not interchangeable. Compare the whole household, the included service and total renewal commitment. Incogni says VAT or sales tax may apply. Neither page establishes your final personalised checkout total.

Automation, rechecks and reporting

Incogni describes regular public-site scans, periodic requests to private brokers, year-round monitoring on annual plans and monthly progress reports. DeleteMe describes scans and deletions all year and Quarterly Privacy Reports.

A monthly report is not proof of a monthly scan, and a quarterly report does not mean work occurs only once a quarter. The reviewed pages do not establish one uniform broker-by-broker recheck interval for either provider.

Both describe reporting, but we have not inspected a paid account or validated status accuracy, support quality, removal speed or relisting rates. The FTC advises asking which sites are covered, what reports contain and how often returning information is checked.

Which should you choose?

Choose by plan fit rather than brand alone. Neither provider can promise to remove every copy of your information. The FTC notes that opt-outs do not delete government public records, may leave information in relatives' reports and may need repeating.

• For automated removal at the lower reviewed individual annual price, shortlist Incogni Standard if its sites and country support fit.
• For custom requests and expert support on the reviewed entry US plan, shortlist DeleteMe Standard and compare it with Incogni Unlimited.
• For a household of five, examine Incogni's family options. For two or four people, compare the total cost and included custom work across both.
• Outside the US, use each provider's local offer. The US prices here do not settle that decision.
• For a few known listings and no subscription budget, free direct opt-outs remain a reasonable alternative.
