What happens next

The public USPhoneBook instructions ask you to allow 3 days. Treat that as the site's published processing guidance, not a Protect My Data guarantee.

Save the submitted listing URL or identifying details, request date and every response. Received, processing and completed are different states.

After the site reports completion, check the original listing and search again for matching records. A temporary error, access block or empty search alone does not prove deletion.

Check other websites separately. Keep a reminder to review the original site again, rather than assuming one request protects every copy forever.

What removal covers

USPhoneBook provides people-search and contact records. Its public opt-out page explains how to request removal from its own data offering using an emailed form link.

One website's copy
A website opt-out concerns that site's data offering. It does not erase an original public record or automatically remove the same information from other websites.
Search results
A search result can lag behind the underlying page. Check the actual listing separately from Google or other search engines; this guide does not promise a delisting deadline.
Browser privacy
Cookies and advertising controls are separate from a people-search listing. Use the site's current privacy settings for those choices.

Having trouble?

The email is missing or the link expired

Check your spam folder and the email address you supplied. The official page says a link older than 24 hours must be requested again. Do not repeatedly submit while waiting for a recently requested message.

There are multiple records with similar details

Keep the links or matching details for each record that genuinely belongs to you. Follow the current form for each applicable record instead of entering another person's information.

The page is blocked or will not load

Try the official page again later in a current browser. Do not bypass an access challenge, buy a background report to unlock removal or treat a blocked page as a completed request.

A request is marked received, but the listing remains

Check the response for its status and any published processing guidance. Keep your original request details for a follow-up through the site's official privacy or support route.

Google still shows the old result

Open the underlying page first. If it has genuinely changed or disappeared, you can use Google's Refresh Outdated Content tool. This is a separate process, not a promise of immediate search removal.

USPhoneBook opt-out FAQs

Where is the official USPhoneBook opt-out form?

Start at https://www.usphonebook.com/opt-out. The public page explains the current process before you enter anything.

Why do I need an email address?

The public form says it sends a link to the opt-out form. Use an inbox you control and check the sender and destination before opening verification links.

How long does the emailed link last?

The inspected official instructions say you need a new link if you wait more than 24 hours to open it.

How long does USPhoneBook removal take?

The site's current public instructions say to allow 3 days for processing. We did not submit a request or test that outcome. Check the record after the site's response rather than assuming a clock proves deletion.

Does this remove my information from every website?

No. This request is for the site's own data offering. Original public records, other people-search services and search-engine results must be checked separately.
